আপনি যখন কিছু বিক্রি করেন তখন নিশ্চয় আপনার পণ্যের সুনাম করেন এবং কেন পণ্যটি ভালো সেটি ব্যাখ্যা করেন।
- যখন আপনি চাকরী প্রার্থী, তখন কোম্পানি গূলোর কাছে আপনি পণ্য । আপনার নিজের ঢোল নিজেকে পীটাটে হবে, আর এর জন্য আপনার সিভি কে এমণভাবে উপস্থাপন করবেন যেন, আপনাকে ইন্টারভিউ বোর্ডে ডাকতে বাধ্য হয়।

এই সিভিতে কি কি ভুল আছে ??
প্রথমত ঃ
objective, আপনার Objective কোম্পানির কাছে বড় কিছু না। আপনার জীবনের
লক্ষ্য, উদ্দেশ্য… এইসব কোম্পানির কাছে কিছুইনা, তাদের কাছে এটা
অপ্রাসঙ্গিঙ্ক, আপনি চাইলে লিখতে পারেন । কিন্তু এড়িয়ে চলা ভাল,
মনেরাখবেন সিভি যত ছোটো ও অর্থবহ করে তোলা যায় ততোয় ইন্টারভিউতে ডাক আসার
সম্ভাবনা বেড়ে যায়। আর একটি কথা, বৃত্তান্তে আপনার বাবা, মা এর নাম,
আপনি ধুম্পান করেন কিনা, আপনার উচ্চতা, রক্তের গ্রুপ দেওয়ার কোন দরকার
নাই। মনে রাখবেন এটা চাকরীর বৃত্তান্ত আপনার বিয়ের জীবনবৃত্তান্ত নয়।
আপনার প্রফেশনাল তথ্য দিন, পারসনাল বা ফিজিকাল তথ্য নয়।
দ্বিতীয়ত ঃ Professional Experiences টি
আপনার শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতার পরে আসা উচিৎ, অনেকের অনেক মত। কিন্তু আমার মতে
যেহেতু আপনি শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা উৎরানোর পরেই কর্ম জীবনে প্রবেশ করেছেন
সেখেত্রে শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা আগে দেওয়া ভাল। এটা আমার যুক্তি, শিক্ষাগত
যোগ্যতা দেওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে সর্বশেষ যোগ্যতা আগে ও সর্বপ্রথম যোগ্যতা পরে
দিয়ে থাকি আমরা। আমার মতে সর্বশেষ দুইটা শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা দিলেই যথেষ্ট।
কারন যে M.Sc করেছে সে নিশ্ছই H.Sc ও পাস করেছে। সেক্ষেত্রে H.Sc উল্লেখ
না করলে ও কোন ক্ষতি নেই বরং লাভই ।
তৃতীয়ত ঃ Professional Experiences লিখার সময় যেই জিনিসটি একটু খেয়াল রাখতে
সেটি
হল আপনার দায়িত্ব/Responsibilities. স্পষ্টভাবে লিখতে হবে আপনি কি
দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন এবং যদি আপনার কোন
প্রাপ্তি/সম্মাননা/Achievement থাকে অইতি ও উল্লেখ করতে হবে এতে আপনার কাজ
সম্বন্ধে কোম্পানি স্পষ্ট ধারনা লাভ করবে। আর যদি একদমি ফ্রেশার হন তাহলে
এসব নিয়ে ভাবার দরকারই নাই ।
আর একটি কথা, আপনার কাঙ্খিত চাকরীর সাথে সম্পর্কিত অভিজ্ঞতাটি আগে লিখুন এরপর অন্যান্য।চতুর্থত ঃ এরপর আপনার যদি কোন বাড়তি যোগ্যতা থাকে ওইটা লিখুন, অবশ্যই মিথ্যা কথা এড়িয়ে চলুন।
পঞ্চম ঃ এরপর আপনার শখ বা অবসর সময়ে কি করেন ওইটা উল্লেখ করুন। এক্ষেত্রে একটু চালাকি করতে হবে। সবসময় চাকরীর সাথে সংযুক্ত কোন শখ উল্লেখ করুন, যেমন আপনি যদি মার্কেটিং এঁর কোন চাকরীতে আবেদন করেন তবে আপনার শখ আড্ডা দেওয়া হলে ভাল। কারন আপনি আড্ডা দেন এঁর অর্থ আপনার নেটওয়ার্ক ভাল, আপনি ভাল বিক্রি করতে পারবেন।
শেষে যুক্ত করুন আপনার যদি কোন অতিরিক্ত এবং উল্লেখযোগ্য কার্জকলাপ থাকে।
সর্বশেষে আপনার রেফারেন্স যুক্ত করুন। যদি আপনার অভিজ্ঞতা থাকে তাহলে আপনার কর্মক্ষেত্রে কোন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদের কার রেফেরেন্স দিন,দেয়ার আগে অবশ্যই রেফারী কে জানিয়ে দিন, নাহলে বিপদে পরতে পারেন।

আসুন এবার Layout/ বিন্যাস নিয়ে আলোচনা করি
Layout/বিন্যাস
Format/ আকার
- ১০-১২ পয়েন্ট এঁর ফন্ট ব্যাবহার করতে হবে (যেমন ঃ Times New Roman, Arial)
- plain business English ব্যাবহার করব ( SMS language, abbreviations, jargon and slang পরিহার করুন)
- মনজগ আকর্ষণ করতে বা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ইনফরমেশন দিতে sub-headings and bulleted lists ব্যাবহার করুন
- পর্যাপ্ত পরিমান white space রাখুন paragraphs এবং margins এর মধ্যে
- Third person ব্যাবহার করুন , I, me or my ব্যাবহার পরিত্যাগ করুন।
- পুরো বৃত্তান্তে indent alignments/ কলাম এর বিন্যাস ঠিক রাখুন।
Length/ কতটুকু দীর্ঘ হবে
- যারা যৎসামান্য অভিজ্ঞতাসম্পন্ন গ্র্যাজুয়েট তাদের জন্য ২-৩ পৃষ্ঠাই যথেষ্ট ।
- যাদের ভাল অভিজ্ঞতা আছে তাদের ৩-৪ পৃষ্ঠাই যথেষ্ট ।
শিখে ফেললেন চাকরির জীবনবৃত্তান্ত লিখা।।

কভার লেটার সিভি থেকে ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, কেননা কোম্পানির হিউম্যান রিসোর্স ডিপার্টমেন্ট সিভি দেখেনা দেখে কাভার লেটার।
যদি না আপনার একটা ভাল কভার লেটার না থাকে তোঁ চাকরি সোনার হরিণ।
